MOSES SIGNS SUCESSOR AGREEMENT WITH COMMONWEALTH

The ratification vote will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. A packet of information on the contract is being mailed to your home address today in a large manila envelope, please keep an eye out for the materials. Attached are electronic copies of the ratification documents as well as a complete copy of the agreement signed on Tuesday. Click on the bullets below to review the documents.

A summary of the proposed salary changes are listed below.

  Article 12 – Proposed salary increases:

A.    

1.00% across the board increase, retroactive to the first full payroll period of July 2017. If tax revenues for FY 2018 exceed $27.072 Billion, then an additional 1.00% across the board increase, retroactive to the first full pay period in July 2017;

B.

Effective the first full pay period in July 2018, a 1.750% increase for Steps 1 through 12 and a 2.224% increase for Step 13;

C.

Effective the first full pay period in July 2019, a 1.750% increase for Steps 1 through 12 and a 2.224% increase for Step   

 Although we had hoped for a better outcome, the Collective Bargaining Committee determined that this is the best offer that could be obtained from the Commonwealth. Therefore, we recommend that you approve the tentative agreement.

In addition to completing the 2017-2020 agreement, MOSES was able to come to an agreement with the Commonwealth on outstanding issues from the 2014-2017 contract. Your vote on this contract will not impact the enhancements listed below; they will take effect shortly.

  • Limited Number of Reclassifications Including New Titles and Job Series
